Release notes
BranchBay updates itself: open Preferences, then Updates, to check for the latest version.
New
- Two ways to list files in the side panel: Path, the flat list you already know, and Tree, which groups files under their folders. Folders collapse and expand, one at a time or all at once.
- View all files lists every file in the repository at that point, not only the changed ones, for uncommitted changes, worktrees and commits alike.
- A Filter files box narrows the list as you type. Press Cmd+F on macOS or Ctrl+F on Windows and Linux to jump to it from anywhere in the list, or Arrow Up from the first file. Arrow Down takes you back to the files.
- The view and the View all files choice are remembered between sessions.
Fixed
- Files under Worktree changes can be previewed like uncommitted files, with the same keyboard navigation: the arrow keys, Page Up, Page Down and the rest.
- Linux: a left click on the tray icon under GNOME never reached the panel. The tray menu now starts with an entry that opens it.
New
- The first stable release of BranchBay for macOS, Windows and Linux.
